New Year Greetings and Set Naming Change

Party107 would like to wish you a happy new year! Thank you very much for all your support in 2009, and 2010 looks to be an even better year with some station improvements on the way.

As of January 1 we are changing the date format in our set naming scheme. For the past 6+ years we have used the "mm-dd-yy" date format which is primarily popular in the US. Since we are a worldwide station and writing the date without the full year can be confusing with the various date formats in use around the world, we are now switching to the international date format (ISO 8601). This is a change we have been wanting to make for some time, and the new year is a good opportunity to do so.

All new sets from January 1, 2010 forward will have the date written in the following format: yyyy-mm-dd. Sets from previous years will not be changed to reflect the new date format, so there will be a mixture of sets with our old and new date formats for a while as replays occur (or when classic sets are replayed).
