i appreciate other genre's of music, but "at the end of the day" (as the politico's say these days), trance rises above in so many ways for me. (my own humble opinion of course).
i really didn't get "into it" until 2006/2007--possibly in conjuntion w/the advent of internet streaming.

Listen to the stuff from 1999/2000-2004/05.  Gold stuff!

AD4E, I agree wholeheartedly. I enjoy many other genres, but trance just seems to always be the one I enjoy the most. And I've been into in since late 2003, when I was finding a bunch of stuff online from college. Though I have to say that the albums that truly got me into it were Oakie's Tranceport and Travelling. To this day, those two albums (along with his Perfecto Fluoro) are among my favorites.

Thanks for another great set, Mike!

good comments guys.
yes, i have listened to a fair amount of early trance (thanks to Crystal Clouds, which i also donate to), but i prefer "today's" trance (i.e, that after 2006); i find it to be more "refined" & melodic.

MZ: i will look for Oakie's Tranceport & Travelling. thanks for tip.
