I'm purely speaking in the producing/remixing aspect of things right now. I dont listen to much of the "big names" spin unless its A State of Trance or on Party107. (People below are in no particular order except AvB being first :p)

Armin van Buuren
Above & Beyond / Oceanlab
Perry O'Neil
Markus Schulz
Paul van Dyk

Theres alot of trance out there that is extremely bangin to me, and then theres a lot of newer stuff that is extremely weak or shitty. I'm not closed minded or biased, I like what I like no matter who produced it.

Maybe not in your rankings or mind. In mine, he makes some awesome remixes and productions. Again, NOT talking about the DJing part of them, just the music making.

Most everything from him that I've heard, with the exception of one or two totally rock.

No flame, just a difference of opinion. Aren't you more into techno though? Maybe I'm wrong about that too.
