Hello good people, you may or may not be interested to know my show is on again this weekend and as you can see I left it rather late to design a flyer. However, you'll be pleased to know that the musical content is of a much higher quality, featuring some brand new tracks from the likes of Arnej, Lustral, Lange and Inertia.

Seeing as how we've just passed the halfway point of the year, I thought I'd do a mix of my favourites from the first six months. This will happen in the second hour of the show, there's a few you may expect and a few you may not including David West, Matt Hardwick, Super8 & Tab and Stoneface & Terminal.

I'm afraid there's a good chance I may not be here for most of the show, if someone is going to be around would like to be on tracklist duty then let me know.

Yaaaaaarrrrrrr! Another week, another Z Factor. I've been quite busy so you'll be disappointed (?) to hear that my voiceovers are lacking in quantity this episode, but the music is still good! Perhaps some predictable tracks this week but hopefully some less obvious as well, from the likes of DJ Shah, David West, Nucvise and Nitrous Oxide (Mashup alert!) and a few new remixes of some old classics.

Last half hour sees a welcome to Peter Martijn Wijnia, who has recently found form and is producing some very promising records, already 'Not The End' has become one of my favourites this year and his remix of 'Heatbeat - Geek Love' and new track 'PMW pres. PhaniaX - Above Measurement' could surpass that. Listen in to see if he's included them in the mix (but it would be pretty cruel for me to tease you like that if he hadn't).

It's episode number 007 this week, and I have a license to kill you with some great tracks! Ok, no more attempts at James Bond puns I promise, but after a 3 week break I've had the chance to pick out some of the best releases in progressive, trance and the area in between. There's no guestmix this week and so it's the return of the featured artist section, where I select my favourite records from one particular producer. This week I've gone with Above & Beyond but don't expect to hear any Alone Tonight/WIFLFAG/Razorfish cliches here, all the records are pre-2002 era, so tune in to hear forgotten productions and remixes from OceanLab, Dirt Devils and Silky-Mac plus a few more!

I'm back again this saturday just before Destination:Trance. Since the last episode seemed to go down quite well I've stuck to a similar format this week; the first 90 minutes will include a nonstop mix of my favourite new releases from the last couple of weeks, and then the last half an hour is handed over to the increasingly talented producer Adam Nickey (IDers please help with track #1!).

There's no artist profile this week, that will potentially return in the future though if people think it's an interesting feature?

After the exitement of 2 weeks ago I left it too late to organise a guestmix this week, so instead I jumped on the decks and put together an uninterupted 90 minute mix. Variety comes in the form of the featured artist section, this week's choice is a duo responsible for a few classics from the 2003/4 era, with record titles suggesting they're very well travelled - from two of the coldest places on the globe to two of the hottest deserts. They also 'borrowed' a sample from one of Tom Cruise's better movies for one of the biggest summer tracks of 2004...

The Z Factor / The Z Factor 003 - Anjunabeats Megamix (Sat April 5th, 10am-12pm EST / 3-5pm BST)

Setting myself the difficult task of trying to collect all the Anjuna releases on vinyl was bad enough, but one day when I decided to try and arrange my records by key a thought occurred that would cost me a hell of a lot more time than I bargained for! After noticing that a lot of the early Anjunabeats tracks sat quite nicely in a harmonic order as well as by catalogue number, I wondered if it would be possible to put them all into one megamix. Fast forward 5 months and I had finished the first version; which overran by 5 minutes and only went as far as 'Adam Nickey - Never Gone', by which time I was pretty fed up of relentless editing and decided to draw a line under it.

For the hell of it I sent the mix to Tony, who got back to me saying by coincidence they were thinking of doing the same thing for TATW 200. I said I would have found it almost impossible to go from 1 to 100 in two hours and I assume they reached the same conclusion, but by the time TATW200 aired almost all the pre-100 releases were out and I decided to go back and completely rework most of the mix, re-editing and cutting until finally it was finished, 99 releases in 2 hours! (Ok, 2 hours and 58 seconds). (Ok, and there's only 94 tracks because some of the early ones occupied two catalogue numbers).

I'm just happy that now I can spend my weekends out in the sunshine rather than slicing up tracks (I'm pretty sure I could recongise each release by waveform alone now!), but I'm sure you will enjoy some - if not all - of it. Apologies if your favourite isn't included in full, but rest assured they're all in there somewhere!

Hello again! The Z Factor returns for episode #2 this Saturday with a chance to hear some of my favourite new tracks, some new mashups (not just from myself) and some not-really-exclusive-but-you-may-find-interesting tracks, fans of 'ANJ020' keep your ears peeled!

Their identities are so secret no-one really knows who they are, but they appear to have run away from the scene recently. Hopefully we'll see them return one day and find that time is the healer, but asking when is like asking how long is a piece of string(er).

And as the flyer mentions, Junk Science are my guests. Anjunadeep regulars, and doing alright for themselves away from the label, they are Simon Oates (from the UK) and Andrew K (from Texas, USA). Most commonly known for 'My Name Is Jacques', a remix of 'Worldwide' and a lovely take on 'Razorfish' (which was sadly changed back to the original melody for the ANJ100 release), Andrew K was also behind the track 'Next To Me' (ANJDEE016), and the Junk Science name can be traced back as far as 2003.

Hello everyone, you may or not not know that I'm starting a new show on party107 this coming Saturday. Join me for 2 hours and you'll be able to hear a selection of my favourite current tracks, and a guestmix from the first (and only) "UK's best resident DJ" Big Al (as voted for by the listeners of Dance Anthems). Each episode I'll also focus a section on one of my favourite artists, bringing you a mix of their most famous productions and remixes over the years. Tune in to find out who I've picked first, he's currently part of a popular duo but had a 'massive' solo hit back in 2001!

Although the show will often take a similar format, don't get too comfortable because from time to time I'll be featuring one-off specials and themed mixes - there's already something very special planned for episode number 3 (or thereabouts)!
