very detailed : http://members.home.nl/cookingdutch/Recipes.html#Bitterballen%20(Meatball%20Hors .. aka gran'mas balls ;] .. imo .. but now readin 2nd [its pretty accurate .. but people dont make em.. they BUY em deepfrozen .. -> simpler, cheaper ;P

http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe/getrecipe.zsp?id=18460 <<-- gives a better impression of the balls :)

In the middle of this page, u see a picture of a few  BITTERBALLEN .. which are the 'ball' versions [smaller] than a croquette .. shown above it --> http://www.frikandel.de/de/co/kroketten.html

I like 'frikandellen' too : http://www.go.to/fricadel .. click on some pictures to enlarge :)

Several NON standard ways to heatup a 'frikandel' : http://home.wanadoo.nl/jackg/foto.html

mp3s about frikandellen : http://members.lycos.nl/hoelenpapers/

Iow, bitterballen is just ONE of the TINY snackfoods, which has the same ingredients as a 'kroket' only in a size, that u can swallow it in whole.. :D

Hope this info is helpful...

have fun..

and happy snackin'

"If there's HELL below... You're all gonna GO!" .. "EXTACY MODDAFAKKA.. MODDAFAKKA!" "There Is No Law" "G-Force" ... if NONE of these ring any bell, then instead of flaming the idea, inspire yourself to some of the OLDER (and NEW), DIFFERENT and 'EXPERIMENTING' works... There are SO many GOOD styles of dance still undiscovered by the NOOBS  :))

Example: a RETRO party, does NOT consist tracks that go back TILL 1999

Techno, Hard-Techno, Acid-Techno, Detroit, Underground, Spiral-Tribe 23 etc. plenty of GOOD stuff there.

But, like with EVERY genre, there will always be GOOD and HORRIBLE tracks. The same counts for regular prog/trance imo..

So, to conclude my comment: GO FOR IT!  :headbang:

I got plenty of stuffs that no-one KNEW (no offense to the kids :)) before, unless your an old party n rave lover as I am :D

*cough* *cough*

I love the idea.. the more diverse, the better. It broadens the perspective of many DJs and artists..

And there you go .. my 0ct comment, which I hope you took the time to read it and all.

Special Events / Party107 Fall Festival 2004!
« on: October 23, 2004, 05:49:55 am »
OMFG... Entertijn's set was EXTREME  :headbang:

I more than just liked it, but then again, I like trance, club, funk, groove, dance and HARDCORE :)

DAY 1 was DAMN impressive.. and I cant wait till everybody is back in the real world (also known as awake) and be as impressed as I am with all the AMAZING choons and kick-BUTT transitions.. All DJs did their very best to make something unique out of this event.

I'm glad I'll be able to say in a while : I WAS THERE DUDE.. :D

Polls and Reviews / What do you prefer to spin on?
« on: October 21, 2004, 11:33:09 pm »
Okiz.. you want my opinion ?? .. Here goes..

You can use CDs more easier as coffeemugholder, than a vinyl on the coffeetable.

Other than that, I'd rather SEE my track spin, than that it's been stuffed behind some closed and darkened window, where I can't even keep up the 500-rpm spinning-disc to read the label.

Also, it's VERY hard reading the fine print on a CD-cover, compared to the poster-size pictures you get if you have the same content on vinyl..

There you go..

3 'non standard' issues that VINYL still is THE media for DJing.

a bonus standard:

Every **sh0le can BURN a cdr.. It has no feeling. If your friend gives you the same track on ViNYL .... you want to play it over and over and over again..

Have fun upcoming fallfestival04 ... I sure will :D
