 The webhost that we use for Party107 has identified the cause as a corrupt file on the main server configuration.

It is believed to be fixed as of now.

 Hello everybody. I just wanted to let you all know the deal with the Party107 website going offline yesterday and this morning.

There was apparently a router problem at the server facility, which has been worked on. Obviously it's up now, and we dont expect any further outages for today, but anything can happen.

If there are further updates, I will post them here.

 Hey! I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm getting some new vinyl here in the next week. In my order, I will be sure to have some trance and house, along with some rap for our sister station-MIXX 94.1!

Remember, Party107 is a non-profit station, us DJs do NOT make ANY money, so all this is comin out of our own pocket. So try not to give me a list of 100 records to get, because that cuts away from my hip-hop fund, and beer money.  :lol:

 Hello everybody. We are deeply sorry for those of you who were trying to tune in to DJ Lanes set last night LIVE on Party107. There was just problem after problem, which ended with DJ Lane's studio power going out.  

I am not sure if it's back on this morning or not, but if it is, I'm sure he will drop a set today.

 Well, I've investigated the problem further, and here is what I believe the problem to be...No, I'm not trying to give Micro$oft the blame for everything, but some of the special DJ software we use here at the station takes the input from our mixing console and transmits it to the main server.

Basically the problem was Micro$oft's DirectX was a beta version (dont know how that got on here) and it was having many problems. It shouldn't  be having the same problems anymore, and the sound quality has increased. Before when the feed was too low, the AGCs attempted to adjust the volume automatically and there would be fuzz and hiss...now this problem has been resolved for the most part.

So, all in all today was a very productive day!

 Hello everybody.

Last night we were experiencing heavy technical difficulties with DJ Lane's live shows on Party107. For a while, it was working 100%, and then shortly after 1 or 2am I am guessing the main server computer crapped out. I am not 100% sure the cause of the problem, but I am going to investigate it much further. I also noticed the remote link between DJ Lane and the studio was terminated again, which was the problem we were having earlier on in the broadcast day.

So, if you were listening to Party last night during DJ Lane's program, then we are sorry that Party went off the air for such a long period.

We're back up now with our automated playlist.
