A friend of mine showed me this link,

 http://www.elpj.com/

 Heres what it says:

"This technological marvel plays vinyl records with master tape sound quality and no wear. The Laser Turntable is perfect for record collectors, archivists and vinyl enthusiasts alike."

Is this a Hoax? has anyone used this before?

Hope they actually make a laser in it, for both PAL and NTSC, to use LD, CLV, VCD, DVD, BLU-RAY, CD, VINYL [7, 10 and 12 inch] plus the shaped discs.

Yes its real. I saw it a few years ago and the thing costs like $10,000.

EDIT: Make that $20,500 http://www.stereotimes.com/turn030300.shtm

I don't think it's that special.
I think when this woulld be something that mix much better than a common used turntable, The big DJ's like avb, pvd,... would use them (they ccan afford themselves things like that...)
