'Welcome to the Future', another unique collaboration by Kristina Sky & Randy Boyer, is an emotional, thought-provoking vocal prog-trancer featuring the effortless vocals and lyrics of ShyBoy. Adding some heavy weight to the package is the silky smooth and deliciously beachy Menno de Jong Deep Mix, along with the energetic and edgy Darude & Randy Boyer Mix.

The Original Mix is a true labor of love; a powerful, yet simple and effective, catchy vocal trancer featuring a super fresh voice on the EDM scene, ShyBoy, frontman for critically acclaimed American rock band, Hypnogaja (over 1 million followers on Twitter!). Kristina first met the band in 2003 at a dive bar in Southern California, and eventually became close friends with the talented group. She vowed to introduce ShyBoy’s unique vocal and writing style to the world of trance, a genre where standout male vocalists/songwriters are in the minority. When Sky and Boyer crossed paths in the mid-2000s, they quickly found themselves on the same musical page and decided to team up in the studio, churning out several hot collaborations and remixes since on labels like Ultra, Vandit, Armada and Solaris. With their mutual love for ShyBoy’s sound it only made sense they team up once again for his anticipated debut in trance land.
Dutchman Menno De Jong’s remix comes in the form of his signature “Deep” sound. Gorgeous lush pads, and groovy basslines with a silky smooth vocal arrangement it’s the perfect mix for almost any set. Coming in at 128 BPM, progressive, house and trance DJs alike will find this mix to be a refreshing gem to have in their record box.
Rounded off with a monster remix from EnMass Music label-bosses Darude & Randy Boyer, its razor sharp bassline cuts through the track crisply and cleanly while layered with ShyBoy’s haunting vocal and sprinkled with clever stutters throughout. The perfect balance of dark and light, energetic and edgy from start to finish - a peaktime floorbanger all the way!
All in all, “Welcome to the Future” sounds like a future classic in the making and Kristina Sky and Randy Boyer already have new projects in the works with the talented ShyBoy. Keep your ears peeled!
