Anyone get the feeling recently that Ministry of Sound is more or less on autopilot at this point? Their compilations are getting BORING in my opinion... mostly they are just picking the top stuff off beatport, the minimal blippy junk, either that or commissioning dance cover versions of whatever crap is in the UK charts. I WAS actually way into trance in the last couple years. But u know that most of this stuff came from europe and the trance sound is now pretty dead there... they are more into the "funky electro" thing -- you've probably seen those videos of those French kids dancing on youtube? Crazy......  personally I'm more into this style -- try searching for these songs:

Thomas Falke "Revolution On The Dance Floor"
Groove Cutter "My Shooter"
Control One "Just A Little Bit"
Ian Carey "Redlight"
Kevin Weg "Dead Radio"

Some of these actually are sort of ROCK influenced, which is cool and I can even get my older brother to listen to it..... cuz there are guitars....

You can find these tracks various places but I started with this list on itunes (  http://electricnation2010.com/ ) and worked from there.....

....yeah -- i agree, people are basically getting sick of the same old rock/hip-hop/r&b bullsh*t..... and there is just this big upsurge from a new style coming out of Europe -- best place i've found it so far is a compilation series called 'euro club hits' on itunes  -- or check this link: http://electricfilebox.com/tracks
