Showdown

As I'm sure you all know by now, DESTINATION:trance started when me, Ant and a certain Mr Daniel Kandi did an impromptu top 50 radio boadcast back in 2006. Since then, the tradition of the inevitable end of year round up show has continued; and returns this year for what we hope will be the biggest one ever.

Over the course of 6 WHOLE HOURS~! we'll be taking over the party107.com airwaves for a complete poptastic Top50 chart of our (and your) favourites of the year. We've been hard at work compiling a list of, in our opinion, the greatest trance tunes this years release schedule had to offer, and we'll be playing all 50 of them on Saturday 19th Dec, from 5pm to about 11pm GMT.

And if that wasn't enough, we're going to be joined by an extra special guest, LIVE in the studio for all the fun and games. In previous years we've been joined by Daniel Kandi, Jurrane and Luke Jenning from Perceptive Recordings... and joining that lustrous list we'll be joined by top DJ and producer Sly One.

Sly One is one half of the top UK duo Sly One & Jurrane, who together have taken the scene by storm over the last 18months with their productions and remixes. They have multiple release on Discover and Perceptive Recordings, along with new track Silicone Stars on Armada. Not only top producers, but stunning djs (both individually and together), Sly One and Jurrane are residents at the best Trance night in London called Planet Angel, and have rocked venues across the country with their cerebral energy filled sets.

Jurrane joined us two years ago, and now Sly One will be joining us to not only mix with us, but provide a very special, super exclusive, LIVE guestmix during the show. This sure is a rarity, as Sly doesn't do too many guestmixes or radio shows, it it's going to be a honour to have him on board. Be sure not to miss it~!

Eek... just when everything was looking so great for the show... it goes and hammers it down with snow round these parts. It's pretty much blanketted the whole area:


<theres a car under there, apparently!

As a result, we're unable to travel to the studio, and Sly One has been unable to get down from London on the train, so we've got no option but to postpone the show for another day. Hopefully we can set a date for next week, so we'll let you know when it's going to happen.

As a replacement, Ant is going to be hitting the airwaves for 2(+) hours of trance lovelyness, so c-c-check it out.


Sorry guys and gals, we're gutted, but these things happen

maybe it will give you more time in the pubs to ponder the top 50 whilst enjoying a good ale or three!
