Ex-Driver is one of the hottest Russian DJ’s and Producers at the moment. Vladimir Bashmakov aka Ex-Driver was born was born on December 6th 1987 at Moscow, Russia. He started to pay big attention to the music since the early childhood and father bought Vlad his first keyboard when he was only 5 and Vlad started to get piano-lessons. In year 1999 he started to pay big attention to the club and electronic music. Vlad began his professional career in late 2005 when he got DJ lessons, bought his turntables, mixer and founded DJ-managing agency a bit later. Also he got his first few productions written in 2005.

In early 2006 Vlad debuted as a DJ and this debut was followed by regularly gigs in Moscow through the year along side DJ’s and Producers like Ivan Great, Melodica. In early spring 2006 Vlad got his first radioshow called «Space Trip» started. Later on he moved to the bigger radio station re-naming his show to the «Outer Space». At summer 2006, Ex-Driver meets Moscow label ClubParty and plays on their Uplifting Trance/HardDance parties at legendary Moscow Estacada Club. At July, he takes part in big Open-Air at Zhukovsky city, headliner of that party were Dom Kane (UK). Summer gigs follows by many different parties at autumn and also at big events such as «HardDance Halloween» by ClubParty. Vladimir ends year 2006 with 3 hours set as a headliner at club «Night Cats» (Sergiev-Posad, Russia) at December 30.

Year 2007 Vlad starts as 2006 at “Ice Planet” club and later has gigs in other Russian towns including St. Petersburg. At autumn 2007 Vlad starts his new weekly radio show called E-Motions (later recalled as Impulse) and got there Guest Mixes from top Trance Producers such as Tom Colontonio, Bissen, Neal Scarborough, Thomas Datt and many more. In July 2007, Ex-D founds his new promotion group called “Impulse” together with Hytex, Sergey Sharapov and ILL. Their party-series «Reflection» at Moscow Night club Norma got a lot of success. At summer and autumn, Ex-Driver has many other events in Russian clubs and event at Belarus. Also Vlad becomes autosport TV broadcaster on Russain 7TV Sports channel.

Year 2008 starts for Vlad with signing his collab with Solar Paradise to the Infexious Recordings. Solar Paradise v.s. Ex-Driver – Kaleidoscope was out on 14 of April with support from Tom Colontonio, Pedro Del Mar, Manuel Le Saux, Talla 2XLC, Kaenow, DJ XTC, Iqy, Kryztow De Fier, Patrick Delsine...

Later on Vlad signs one more collab to the Infexious Recordings– this time with Ben Parker – Turbulence and sign few of his remixes to the other labels too. In may 2008 Vlad also becomes part of *Stampgevaar Digital. Also Vlad got many gigs at Moscow and outside it. At Summer Vlad starts his brand new radioshow on Party107.

Brett James has been collecting and spinning trance records since 2000, and has been making waves ever since. Co-host DJ Contagious is fast becoming one of the most respected trance DJs in Adelaide and beyond.
